SONGS OF REFUGE

September 29, 2017

We are thrilled to report that our fundraiser concert raised $1400 for the Interfaith Movement for Immigrant Justice! What a pleasure it was to sing for a full house and to feel united through song.

We were joined by pianist Grisha Krivchenia, sang original pieces by composers Joan Szymko and Nisha Anand. We sang wonderful arrangements by Ethan Sperry and a lovely piece written by Ayla Nereo and arranged by our own Benjamin España.

Thank you to West Hills Unitarian Universalist Fellowship - WHUUF for the use of their beautiful Sanctuary!

Family Promise is a local organization whose mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.
